The team at Ghost Ship Games has announced an ambitious roadmap for Deepstone Galaxy, covering Season 07, Season 08 and the project’s first-ever paid expansion.
In the winter of 2026, players can look forward to Season 7, called “Contingency Protocol,” dedicated to eliminating the gravity anomaly and consequences of the Hawks IV landing module crash.
The update will bring approximately twenty new overclocks to secondary weapons, a major overhaul of the perk system that includes eleven new skills and bonus point bonuses, long-awaited mobile movement tool skins, and a unique tattoo system using the new Kadoc Inker passive bio-ink.
In the summer of 2027, the developers will release Season 08 for free, along with the first story DLC (for real money), which will allow the studio to fund the creation of more ambitious content while maintaining the traditional release method of free seasonal updates.
