Led by effective manager Asha Sharma, XBOX is laying off hundreds of employees and studios are merging, closing or being sold. But all is well in a green company.
In an interview with The New York Times, the Xbox boss dismissed rumors that Microsoft’s gaming division could be sold and initially spun off into an independent structure. Let us remember that authoritative publication The Information reported on this in June. Well, optimization continues – three-quarters of the way done so far.
XBOX is not for sale. We will take all necessary steps to ensure the company’s success and will consider suitable partnerships, best operating models and any other measures that can help achieve this goal.
Asha Sharma, Head of Xbox
