Acer has started selling its ultrawide gaming monitor Predator X49 V in Russia. This model is already on sale in retail and online stores, with prices starting from 108,510 rubles.
This display uses a 49-inch QD-OLED curved matrix in 32:9 format with a resolution of 5120×1440 (DQHD). This is equivalent to two 27-inch 2K screens placed side by side, but combined into a body with thin ZeroFrame bezels. Acer calls car and flight simulators such as iRacing and MS Flight Simulator respectively: Display the entire cockpit in 32:9 format, eliminating the need for the assembly of three monitors.
Home screen features:
- Refresh rate: 144 Hz;
- Reaction time: 0.03 ms (GtG);
- Sync: AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync compatible;
- Bending radius: 1800R;
- HDR peak brightness: 1000 cd/m², VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified;

The laptop connects to a cable via USB-C: it carries both the image and the charging. The built-in KVM switch lets you control two computers with one keyboard and mouse. There are also 2×5 W speakers inside the case.
The stand height is adjustable to 120 mm, with a tilt range of -5 to 20° and a rotation range of ±20°. There is a 100x100mm VESA mounting bracket on the back for use as a stand or simulator chair. Eye protection features include Flicker-Less anti-flicker and BlueLight Shield blue spectrum filter.
