Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Anniversary Update II and patch 15 have been released. The main new feature is the Siege option, which will allow players to fight as a Chaos Space Marine in PvE for the first time.
Chaos Siege pits you against the Tyranids, Cardians, and Loyalists in two new areas of Avalax. For those who like to make life more complicated, the Crucible system is introduced: players can voluntarily impose penalties and negative effects on themselves, and successfully completing such challenges will lead to new rewards, including a full set of Mourner armor.
Arsenal haven’t been ignored either. The game features tactical, assault, rampart, and technical military one-handed hammers, as well as power axes, automatic bolt rifles, and new variants of the hammer itself. Additionally, two shoulder pads and a new iron halo have been added.
Season Pass 3 owners received the first two cosmetics: Rampart’s Space Wolves Champions Set and the Exorcist Six-Piece Set. The update is now available to all players, and Starfighter 2 itself continues its third year of content with a decidedly more heretical feel.
