MMORPG “The Elder Scrolls Online” officially abandons the usual annual expansion mode and adopts a new seasonal mode to provide players with more diverse non-combat content and fresh discoveries.
The developer said in an interview that after going through difficult times at the studio, the team decided to rethink the established formula in order to once again surprise the community and raise the quality bar.
The new system has already launched with Update 51 and the High Seas of Tamriel expansion, and players can look forward to mysterious events like Vaults of Nowhere, Atmospheric Rumors, and the unusual Return to Skyrim, which will retain the scale of previous chapters but offer a completely different way to explore.
