A deleted scene lasting just over a minute shows the protagonist of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced – pirate and assassin Edward Kenway – in a London tavern after the events of the game.

In the establishment, Edward meets with the co-founder of the British brotherhood of assassins, Mika, who is killed in the prologue of Assassin’s Creed III by Haytham Canway (Edward’s son), and his quartermaster Adewale, the protagonist of the Freedom Cry addon.

The scene begins with the announcement that the king is dead. We are probably talking about the British King George I (died 1727). The events of Black Flag end in 1722, Haytham is born in 1725, and Edward dies in 1735.

As the portal noted My cityvery little is known about the period of Edward’s life between 1725 and 1735, and the deleted epilogue could well be a teaser for a potential spin-off about this part of Canway’s story.

Judging by the fact that the epilogue was cut, Ubisoft has changed its mind about teasing fans at the ending of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, but, quite possibly, has not abandoned the plan completely. Original video blocked at the request of Ubisoft.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced was released on July 9 on PC (Steam, EGS, Ubisoft Connect), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The remake earned “very positive” reviews on Steam (81% rating) and sold 3 million copies in 8 days.
