Cloud Imperium Games studio led by Wing Commander creator Chris Roberts presented a new trailer for the ambitious story-driven action movie Squadron 42 in the universe of the space simulator Star Citizen.

Squadron 42 takes place in the year 2945, when the United Empire of Earth (UE) is on the verge of collapse due to the threat of bandits and hostile alien forces from the darkest corners of space.
As a new recruit to the OIZ military forces, players will live and work with a crew aboard a massive ship, make difficult decisions and embark on a dangerous journey to the very heart of galactic war.
New official trailer Squadron 42 (embedded above) features alien menace, space action, shooting, exploration, puzzles and a stellar cast.
The audience was delighted with what they saw, counting the years that have passed since the announcement and are impatient for the future release. “I can’t wait to get out. It will be monumental”– sure office8361.
Along with the new trailer, Squadron 42 received page on the digital distribution service Steam. There is no mention of Russian language support, but there are 15 new screenshots (see gallery above).
Squadron 42 will be released in the second quarter of 2027. They promise a cinematic space adventure in the spirit of Wing Commander, deeply interactive systems and an incredible level of immersion.
