Publishing house Kalypso Media and developers from its German Gaming Minds Studios reported about the release of a story trailer for the upcoming political urban strategy Tropico 7.

Let us remind you that Tropico 7 players, in the role of dictator El Presidente, familiar from previous parts, will once again lead the island nation of Tropico and lead it to prosperity by all fair and not so fair means.
Presented by Kalypso Media story trailer Tropico 7 lasts two and a half minutes and shows the main events of the campaign, which shows the path of El Presidente from the governor of the colony to the owner of his own island.
On the road to power, El Presidente will face resistance: protests from suspiciously well-organized citizens and the determined revolutionary Victoria Guerra Perez with her own vision of the future of Tropico.
“In Tropico, every alliance has an expiration date, and every crisis is an opportunity. Especially when all the troubles can be blamed on the past administration, a foreign power, or, in a really desperate situation, even the weather.”the authors remind.
They promise the largest islands in the history of the series, five new maps for the campaign (and 20 for the sandbox), 10 scenarios, a breadth of political and creative possibilities, as well as a terraforming system.
Tropico 7 will be released on January 28, 2027 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch 2 and Game Pass (Ultimate, PC). Russian text localization is planned.
