Let us remind you that Darksiders 4 was unveiled at THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2025 last summer, but without an official release date. Since then, there’s been no news about the game, but development is moving forward.
Swedish holding company Embracer Group owns THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games. Report For the first quarter of fiscal 2027, he mentioned release dates for upcoming games, including Diablo 4.
It is known from the documents that Diablo 4 will be released in fiscal 2028, as well as new games in the world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance from Warhorse Studios and the action-adventure game Tomb Raider Catalyst from Crystal Dynamics.
Embracer Group’s 2028 fiscal year will run from April 1, 2027 to March 31, 2028. In other words, Diablo 4 will be released in the next year and a half (a year and seven and a half months).

It was previously reported that “Darksiders 4” will continue the story of the first film. Players take on the role of a knight on a journey through a post-apocalyptic reality where secrets, enemies, and mysterious bosses lurk around every corner.
Diablo 4 is in development for PC (steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. They promise a detailed world, a fast-paced combat system that combines melee combat, movement, and supernatural skills, puzzles, and Russian text translations.
