Digital distribution store VK Play released Spartan 2035, a turn-based tactical strategy game developed by the Russian independent team Lipsar Studio, for free without any warning.

Spartan 2035 released on VK Play includes the full version, containing the main game and all three free expansion packs released to date: Pirate Seas, The Last Diamond and The Ends of the Earth.
You can activate your free copy of “Sparta 2035” on VK Play: game page — “Full version” settings, “Add” button. The giveaway will last for just over a month, ending on September 15th.
“Spartan 2035” tells the story of the confrontation between the terrorist organization “Damat” and the independent elite mercenary unit “Spartan” in Africa. Players will play the role of the commander.
The project includes 5 character classes and 10 unique mercenaries, honest ballistics, destructible environments, a variety of enemies and weapons, humor and pop culture references, and Russian voice acting.
The release version of Spartan 2035 will be released on PC in November 2025 (steamVK playback). The game has a user rating of 7.3 out of 10 on the VK digital store based on 662 reviews.
It is worth noting that Spartan 2035 was created with financial support from the Internet Development Research Institute (IRI). The organization invested 90 million rubles out of the 200 million rubles required for the development of the project.
