The MMORPG World of Warcraft community is actively discussing a new location, the Twisted Isle. Despite the vast amount of fun content, players are faced with one annoying detail: the minimap is filled with treasure icons every turn, but the rewards these icons actually bring are extremely meager.
Urns, boxes and shells can be found all over the island. Most of them only contain a small amount of potions and currency, such as Void Putt, and it’s not really worth the time to get there. However, some caches are really useful: they can provide blue gear for other characters, provide weekly knowledge for a class, or provide materials for upgrading talents through Atta’utek’s altar.
At the same time, the treasures in Atal’Utek’s dungeons themselves cause fewer complaints, since in addition to standard loot, they also contain valuable coins for necessary improvements.
What are your thoughts on mini-rewards like this in the open world? Do you often spend time collecting little treasure chests in the current add-on?
