The developers of Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen continue to work on combat and progression updates. This week, the team is focusing on the combat system, character development, preparation of new locations, and technical improvements to accelerate further development.
In Port Rulon, conversations and overheard scenarios are being created, and in Badiadkara, community outreach is being completed before warheads are tested. The author also expanded the range of rare items and corrected errors. At the same time, the team is preparing the Falta Forest and the Old Forest, working to improve their environment and inhabitants. A new tool is being tested for professional developers that should speed up the creation of systems of competence and mastery.
Particular attention is paid to production and collection. The team began preparing to transfer recipe data and introduce difficulty and progression mechanics. The trading system is also being prepared for testing, and improved error logging should help quickly identify issues that players don’t always notice, but may impact client and server performance.
Artists continue to create rocks and trees, including giant old trees, for the Faltar forest and add new elements to the city of Faltar. At the same time, Rulun Port is being optimized by removing unnecessary colliders. Programmers are refining weapon dash animations, switching armor to the new system and creating additional hairstyles, as well as Spriggan and Vale Strider models.
