Three months after the announcement, Grove Street Games released the online action game BeastLink on Steam, which is still in early access. A console version is being considered for a future release.
However, this may not be the case: there is no point in summarizing the first results after an hour, but starting from minus 5% is something you need to be able to do. The first players complained about optimization and other technical issues. The initial online presentation garnered respect – as many as 351 people. Russian language is not imported, but the regional price is ₽855 (10% discount until September 1st).
The developers have prepared a story campaign and multiple PvP and PvE modes, but the essence of BeastLink is the massive battles of 32 participants, in which simple warriors armed with guns, ground and air equipment, and heavy monsters destroy cities: this is done not by individual buildings but by entire buildings, thanks to network- and physics-based technology and hundreds of thousands of destructible objects on the map. This project is based on Unreal Engine 5.
