Chinese studio Seed Sparkle Lab has announced the end of early access for its cozy anime-style farming simulator Starsand Island. The game received major update 1.0 on PC and Xbox Series X|S, and debuted on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. In service steam You can buy the full version for 1040 rubles, taking into account the 20% starting discount.
The main innovation of the 1.0 update is support for four-player cooperative mode. Players can now explore islands with friends, engage in building and fishing, fight monsters in ancient ruins, and other activities. In addition, the developers have expanded the character relationship and interaction system, and launched the seasonal event “Autumn Pumpkin Carnival” with independent storylines and tasks.
Star Sand Island invites players to temporarily leave the hustle and bustle of the city, return to the carefree scenery of childhood, and begin to restore the economy on the picturesque island. The game’s visual style is inspired by classic Japanese animation, and the gameplay is based on an in-depth simulation of rural daily life, including farming, animal husbandry, fishing, and home decoration.
The game world lives in the rhythm of four seasons, each with its own rules for farming, changing the conditions for exploring the territory and bringing about unique community holidays. As the economy develops, daily tasks are gradually simplified, providing more time to explore ancient ruins, mine valuable resources, and encounter fantastic creatures. Social interaction with local residents plays an equally important role. Each of the island’s residents has a unique personality and career, and developing relationships with them will reveal personal storylines and special emotional moments.
