NC (formerly known as NCSoft) has begun accepting applications to participate in the closed beta test of DynamisOne game Astrae Oratio. The deadline for applications is September 21 and can be submitted on the official website. Testing will take place on iOS and Android, with specific dates to be announced later.
Astrae Oratio is an RPG with the theme of “bureaucracy and magic”. The game is set in Tokyo in 1989, with the rapid post-war economic development, and depicts a world where magicians and ordinary people coexist peacefully. The player will play an ordinary local government employee who is suddenly assigned to a mysterious administrative agency called the Special Zone Office, which is in charge of the entire magical world of Tokyo. As a government official in charge of Tokyo Magicians, the protagonist must solve various problems related to magical girls living in Tokyo.
The upcoming closed beta will be conducted globally ahead of Astrae Oratio’s full launch to improve game quality and incorporate player feedback. It will be available on iOS and Android, with support for Japanese dubbing and English text. Participants will be randomly selected from those in Korea fill in form. After registration closes on September 21, selected testers will receive an email confirming test access and testing instructions. Letters will be sent out in batches.
Minimum hardware requirements: Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and 6 GB RAM on Android; or A14 chip and 4 GB RAM on iOS. Recommended specs: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with 8GB RAM on Android; or A16 chip with 6GB RAM on iOS. You also need at least 10 GB of free disk space.
