Players have been waiting for the sequel to Alien: Isolation for nearly twelve years, and Alien: Isolation 2 is finally around the corner: Creative Assembly and SEGA will showcase the project on August 25th during the opening night of gamescom 2026.

The developer will also be bringing the survival horror film Prologue to the German show, which was fully announced in June. Visitors can attend the event from August 26th to 30th. Previously, fans had only seen a short, insignificant, but very atmospheric trailer.
The premise of the plot is also well known: the mysterious wreckage of a spaceship on a distant colonial planet, a curious member of the search party, and a deadly creature. “Alien: Isolation 2” will be released in Russian on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2. The release window has not yet been announced.
