American company Nori Robotics has announced the launch of the humanoid robot Nori A3, which will be available this fall and will cost only $1,688. He can perform basic tasks and can work as a domestic worker.

The Nori A3 is capable of carrying 1.5 kg of weight on the outstretched arm and lifting objects weighing up to 55 kg vertically. Battery life is six to eight hours; the machine moves on a wheelbase and has a body with movable arms and heads. The design provides 19 degrees of freedom; the robot can remove food from the refrigerator, pour drinks, load plates into the dishwasher, and fold laundry. Nori A3 is connected to the Skill Market app store, where users can post skills they teach their robots and can install skills posted by others.
The robot started mass production on July 21. This is not a bipedal humanoid robot that can take a walk. He is slow to move and cannot yet perform any operations at home or in the office. Additionally, due to their affordability, robots can be extremely simple and fragile in design. The Nori A3 is billed as “the most powerful robot available at $1,688,” which is hard to argue with because there are so few competitors in this price range.
To navigate in space, Nori A3 uses radar and four 720p cameras – mounted on the robot’s arms, head and neck; there is a speaker and microphone for voice communication and use of commands. The Nori Lab PC application is used to teach and control the robot.
