Xbox has quite a few anticipated releases planned for the end of August. In total, from August 24th to 28th, Microsoft plans to release more than 30 projects in the gaming ecosystem. Some major new items will also be added to the Game Pass subscription.
Main releases this week
“Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2” (August 25). The sequel to the co-op shooter set in the Alien universe. Its main difference from the first installment is that the co-op mode has been expanded to four players per team. The game will retain the original five professions and add a new profession – “Expert”. The weapon modification system has also become significantly more in-depth.
Metal Gear Solid: The Master Collection Volume 2 (August 27). Konami’s second collection of classic games in the series, including Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, as well as the bonus game Metal Gear Solid: Ghosts of Babel for the Game Boy Color.
Resonance: The Legacy of a Plague Tale (August 27). The third game in the A Plague Tale series is significantly different from the first two. In it, players will be told Sofia’s story, and the gameplay itself should become more dynamic. In the first preview, the game was compared to Tomb Raider and Assassin’s Creed.
