Commodore and Antstream, in partnership with Team17, announce Alien Breeds 35th Anniversary SeriesOf course, this is a series designed to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the sci-fi action horror series inspired by aliens. The project will include the entire library of games belonging to the first year of the series, preserving the original versions and settings but introducing a series of innovations designed to make them more suitable for modern hardware.

The series will offer six games: Games included in the series include: Alien Breed, Alien Breed Special Edition 92, Alien Breed 2 (AGA and OCS), Alien Breed Tower Assault, Alien Breed 3D (+ Demo 1 & 2) and The Killing Grounds; can be played individually or cooperatively, with support for local multiplayer and online play. They will be added to these new method Examples include Sprint Mode, designed for online co-op, and Horde Mode, a survival mode where you can fight alone or in a team against waves of increasingly powerful enemies without saving or being able to continue the game.
On the control side, the header will receive Twin joysticks that fully support 2D and 3D productionin addition to a traditional mouse and keyboard for first-person gaming. Save states can also be used to save multiple times, customize global settings for graphics, audio and gameplay, and modify the interface to make it easier to use the original game without changing its basic settings.

The audio-visual component also received a lot of attention. Players will be able to choose Original 4:3 format and more modern 16:9 formatas well as several CRT filters that recreate the look of 1990s televisions. Inside there’s concept art, material related to the original publication, interviews with developers, retrospective videos with original team members, as well as content and secrets to discover.
