This will allow segments that were initially unpopular to benefit from the AI boom.

For example, if the memory field is not considered, the semiconductor market revenue will grow from US$589 to US$718 billion this year, a confident increase of 21.9%, and will grow to US$864 billion by the end of next year. Of course, this still doesn’t compare to the dynamics of memory chip sales revenue. In the DRAM field, revenue this year will grow by 246.6%, and in the NAND field it will grow by 371.9%. Overall, memory sales revenue nearly quadrupled this year, from $2.2 billion to $837.3 billion. Next year, this dynamic will slow significantly, but at the same time, memory chip sales revenue will cross the important milestone of $1 trillion. Memory price increases should partially slow next year after additional production facilities come online or the use of existing ones is optimized.
