Amplitude Studios has announced the continuation of its 4X strategy – “Humans 2”, scheduled to be released in 2027. Like the 2021 original, the game is a turn-based simulator of developing a civilization on a hexagonal grid, and players must lead their country throughout human history.
One feature of the sequel will be an even greater emphasis on customization and flexibility: the developers are developing the idea of civilization “designers” that will allow you to combine the technologies, units and functions of different cultures according to the current mission.
In addition to improved graphics and a completely redesigned interface, the sequel will offer an in-depth progression system to expand opportunities for diplomacy, expansion, and military conflict.
