Blizzard Entertainment and CD PROJEKT RED unexpectedly announced a strategic partnership to work together with creators diablo and wizard.
The main results of this first phase of the partnership are the launch of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered (scheduled for release on September 29, 2026) and the upcoming story add-on Song of the Past (released in 2027) on the Battle.net Launcher.
As a nice bonus, players who pre-order the add-on on Blizzard Services will receive a Diablo 4-exclusive Geralt of Rivia-themed costume. Representatives from both studios hinted that releasing on Battle.net is just the first step in their collaboration. The company promises to reveal all the details of further collaborations at BlizzCon 2026, taking place on September 12-13.
