Ubisoft announced the third major DLC for The Division 2 at Gamescom. This work is called “Echoes of Central Park” and players will travel to New York’s Central Park, which has been in uncharted territory since the outbreak of the epidemic.
In the story, Central Park was used as a mass grave during the outbreak. Years later, no one knows what happened behind the door. The story of the expansion pack will start with a distress signal being sent out from the park, and then agents will go to the park.
Ubisoft promises that with the new DLC, all of the game’s missions will have a darker atmosphere than before. The developers have yet to reveal gameplay and other details. The full presentation of “Echoes of Central Park” will be held on September 24 at 18:00 Moscow time. A release date and cost for the DLC have also yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Ubisoft confirmed that it will release a cross-platform multiplayer update for The Division 2 in November. This feature will be enabled by default, but can be deactivated on the hero select screen. Additionally, clan capacity will be increased from 50 to 100 players, and leaderboards will be reset after the update is released. Massive also continues to revamp its PvP balance. The developers’ goal is to reduce the likelihood of enemies being instantly destroyed and to create more weapons, skills, talents, and equipment.
