HoYoverse has launched the official website for its new action RPG Nodusfall, which was first announced at Gamescom 2026, and shared the latest screenshots.
Nodusfall is a cooperative action game focused entirely on monster hunting. Players will take on the role of the Weaver – a powerful warrior battling monsters struck by a mysterious corruption.
The main surprise for the developers is monetization and progression: there will be no gacha mechanic in Nodusfall. The entire development system is built on classic elements of the genre – destroying bosses, grinding resources and creating new equipment. The combat system promises to be tactically diverse, giving players the flexibility to change their approach to each battle.
The visual style of this project was also a good experiment for miHoYo. The studio has abandoned its signature anime style in favor of dark fantasy, and the new project has an atmosphere more reminiscent of Elden Ring. The world of Nodusfall is divided into several large biomes, each with its own ecosystem, history, and unique bestiary.
Enemy designs are based on mythical creatures from different real-life cultures. As a result, each area will have noticeable differences not only visually but also in enemy behavior patterns.
Currently, miHoYo has not announced the release date of “Nodusfall” nor the time for the first phase of closed beta testing.
