Insomniac Games has released a new four-minute gameplay trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine. The narrator is Liam McIntyre, who voices Logan. The actor lists out the key features of the upcoming superhero action film.
Unlike the more peaceful Spider-Man, Wolverine takes a less formal approach to his opponents: players can expect fast and extremely brutal combat, complete with the ability to disable dismemberment. The combat system is complemented by over a dozen unlockable abilities and three levels of rage, each making Logan more dangerous.
It wouldn’t be possible without stealth, and exploring locations will let you discover all kinds of secrets and discover new costumes. Over the course of the game, Wolverine will visit Tokyo’s Shinjuku, Madripoor, Telembang Jungle, and the Canadian wilderness. Additionally, the hero encounters famous supervillains.
The plot will not only focus on the superhero showdown, but also on Logan’s inner experience, his relationship with other mutants and his desire to protect his comrades. After completing the main story, you can return to the game in New Game+ mode with increased difficulty and exclusive skills.
Marvel’s Wolverine will also get a photo mode and advanced accessibility settings.
The game will be released exclusively on PlayStation 5 on September 15th.
