Ryan Roslansky, Microsoft’s executive vice president in charge of LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams projects, complained on social networks that he was sent “Document apparently created by artificial intelligence”.

After realizing it was AI-generated content, Mr. Roslansky directed him to his own AI service and asked him to create a summary, but “In the end I didn’t get anything that would bring something new to the idea”. Therefore, top management stated that it was created “Vicious cycle”so a person can only do “It’s an expensive way to avoid writing or reading in a sea of monotony and stereotypes”.
Microsoft is actively deploying the Copilot series of artificial intelligence assistants and regularly abandons some projects based on user feedback. On corporate-owned social network LinkedIn, the abundance of AI content forced platform management to add a feature for reporting content that “looks like AI nonsense,” and more than 1 million users have already used the feature.
In addition to Ryan Roslansky, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma has previously complained about low-quality AI content. Satya Nadella, the head of the entire company, urged his colleagues not to jump to conclusions. “We need to move beyond the debate about hacking jobs and perfection”he said. But Roslansky’s story drew praise from other Microsoft executives. The company’s president, Brad Smith, also backed him. Roslansky himself clearly has no intention of giving up on artificial intelligence – in March this year, he published a book “Open for Work” about how to effectively use artificial intelligence in workflows.
