Publisher Koei Tecmo and studio Team Ninja have announced that they have reached a new major milestone: Dark Souls game Wolong: Fallen Reign has surpassed the eight million player mark worldwide. The announcement is timed to coincide with the official release of Crouching Dragon: The Complete Reign of Fallen Edition on the new Nintendo Switch 2 console.
The studio also recalled that the direct sequel Wolong 2: Wings of Ash is scheduled to release on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 in early 2027 (and on Game Pass on launch day).
