
Publisher Krafton and development studio launch a new space shooter DED.NET PUBGwhose first trailer was shown at Gamescom.
In a conversation with the media, the project’s creative director Dave Curd explained that the author’s main goal was to attract new Western audiences with fresh game ideas. The game is based on the concept of a roguelike, where the death of a character does not stop progress, and the hero becomes stronger with each new playthrough thanks to rare perks and abilities.
Developers take into account failures of previous spin-offs PUBG Blind SpotEarly Access lasted less than two months, so they relied on close communication with fans and a nimble team. The project also stands out for the dark humor of its nineties setting, although the game doesn’t yet have an exact release date.
