The developers of Forgotten Realms: Valin’s Call have released an update that changes the balance of loot to make exploring the world more meaningful. At the same time, the game received new control settings, usability improvements, and a host of fixes.
Major changes affected the economy. The amount of normal loot in the world has been reduced, and its regeneration has been completely disabled. At the same time, enemies now leave more items behind, and the amounts of various secondary items have been reduced. Close collection has been removed: instead, the radius for interaction with containers and loot has been significantly expanded. The developers have also modified the balance of resources collected in each area.
Controls have also been updated – there are separate keybindings for movement and camera. In addition, the developers have speeded up shader compilation, improved navigation in several locations, and made many puzzles clearer. Fixed issues with incorrect sprinting while using weapons, jumping while swiping, quick potion selection, and enemy behavior. Some crash issues have also been addressed, including rare instances of crows getting trapped and too many enemies spawning.
