Let us remind you that Airframe Ultra is officially launching in the summer of 2023. Since then, the game has gone through multiple public beta tests and demos. It was expected to be released in 2025, but production was delayed.
It is understood that Airframe Ultra will be released exclusively for PC on November 5, 2026 (steam, GOGEpic Games Store). Accompanying this news is busyness trailer A mix of gaming and anime scenes.
The events of Airframe Ultra will unfold in the gloomy metropolis and its surrounding areas in the western part of the future megacity: from the suburbs of San Juana and Isidro to the monumental buildings of the ZEGO district of Texcali and the new skyscrapers of Eli.
Players will find themselves in the brutal underworld of Ultra Circuit racing, where pilots from across the Southland compete on hoverbikes against metal pipes, chains, and plasma cutters for fame, fortune, and a chance to achieve greatness.
According to the developers, Airframe Ultra is inspired by racing action games of the past such as Twisted Metal, Vigilante 8, and Carmageddon. Judging from the comments on the trailer, the game resembles a mix of Akira and Road Rash from the original PlayStation.
They promised adrenaline-pumping gameplay, high-speed, local and online multiplayer, a character editor and old-school graphics in the spirit of PS1 gaming. Only declares support for English.
