Publisher Kakao Games and studio XLGAMES recently announced the massive PC-MMORPG ArcheAge S: Free Strait, which is scheduled to be released on Steam in the second quarter of 2027. Today we saw the first official artwork and logo of the new product, and later they revealed some details about the launch plans.
the project aims to carefully convey the key characteristics and identity of the classic ancient timesadapting them to the needs of modern audiences. Development is led by industry veteran Kyung-tae Kim, lead game designer and producer of the original game.
Back in September, the author promised a detailed cinematic preview that would feature stories about the team’s design philosophy and a first look at real-life gameplay.
