Shiro Games has released the seventh free community update for tactical role-playing game Wartales. The update has been released on PC and adds new hideouts, a redesigned prisoner system, new battle maps, gear, and a host of gameplay changes for mercenaries who decide to take a criminal path.
The main innovation is the “den,” a new haven for squads that have accumulated enough suspicion for theft and other crimes. You can find his location through informants. Once settled in the Sanctuary, mercenaries will be able to sell stolen goods, accept criminal missions, purchase unique weapons and reduce suspicion levels.
The developers also seriously redesigned the prisoner system. They now have their own skill trees, trait-based needs and desires, and hidden goals. They can be revealed and used to change levels of trust. Military commanders have greater opportunities to control prisoners in camps and in battle.
This update also includes the following changes:
- The “End Turn” button skips the actions of all warriors who have not yet acted;
- The redesigned character sheet has three tabs;
- Three sets of armor, which can be purchased or stolen from traveling merchants;
- Six new battle maps for Alazar, Karag, Gosenberg, and Eldolan;
- Personal missions of mercenaries;
- Other game improvements and bug fixes.
To mark the release of the update, the game is discounted by 72%. Purchase the basic version of Wartales: steam The price is 363 rubles until September 21.
