Playground Games has confirmed that Forza Horizon 6 will indeed be coming to PlayStation 5 in 2026. In a recent blog post, the developer urged owners of Sony consoles to add the game to their PlayStation Store wishlists in order to receive release notifications.
Initially, the PS5 version was promised to release later in 2026, but a specific date was never announced. After controversial comments from the new head of Xbox and months of silence, rumors emerged that the port might be cancelled, but have now been officially denied.
The exact release date is still unknown. Perhaps Playground Games will reveal it in the near future, including before the Tokyo Game Show, which takes place from September 17th to 21st.
