NetEase Games has released the tenth season of Marvel Rivals, titled “Butcher’s Blasphemy”. In the animated trailer dedicated to Loki, Godkiller Gorr, with the help of the all-black Necronomicon Sword, dealt with Loki and went to Igesgard to continue his crusade against the gods.
Gorr will be the only new playable hero this season. This is a melee duelist capable of absorbing the corpses of defeated opponents and creating black berserkers from them. The developers also confirmed that starting with Season 11, they will once again release heroes in pairs.
Season 10 will include a new Quarry map, pajama sets for several heroes, and Jeff’s Dream Eater event. In addition, the 10.5 update will add new modes, and a large-scale rebalancing will affect about 70% of the characters.
The Butcher’s Desecration season begins on September 11th, with the Quarry map arriving on September 24th. Marvel Rivals is available to play on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series.
