Phasmophobia has been updated to version 0.19.0.1, which fixes issues since the last QoL patch. The developers also confirmed that they will be migrating to Unity 6 in November, and that an October Crimson Eye event is still planned.
The game adds VR belt height adjustment as well as new items and fingerprint interactions at the prison entrance. For VR, we also changed the hand positions when using Tier 1 DOTS projectors, flashlights, and cameras to make control more convenient.
The main part of the patch is dedicated to fixes. Developers have fixed issues with appearance, achievements, evidence, and more when using the Monkey’s Paw, Ouija Board, Camera, and Tripod. Fixed incorrect spawning of bones, fuse boxes and monkey paws, shelters, doors and interactions with equipment on some maps. At the same time, we improved the performance of high school limits and turned off the ability to convert rewards into money through third-party tools.
Additionally, the update affects consoles and VR as well. On PlayStation 5 and Xbox, speech recognition has been fixed after switching between speech and text modes. For PSVR2, UI indicators and character movement have been fixed, and many issues with VR appearance, profiles, and death animations have also been fixed. The next major milestone is Phasmophobia’s transition to Unity 6, currently planned for November.
