The price of the smartphone itself starts at 19,999 yuan (approximately $2980) for the version with 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Motherboards aren’t cheap either. Prices depend on the amount of memory: 6,099 yuan (about $908) for the 256 GB permanent memory version, 7,699 yuan (about $1,148) for the 512 GB version, and 9,299 yuan (about $1,386) for the 1 TB memory model. The Red Maple rear camera module is priced at 299 yuan (about $45), and the rear main camera is priced at 949 yuan (about $142). The cost of the wide-angle and telephoto cameras, as well as the front camera, vary within these values.
The cost of add-ons is also quite low: the fingerprint scanner costs 93 yuan (about $14), the rear panel costs 399 yuan (about $60), and if equipped with a camera, it costs 1,399 yuan (about $208). The data cable is priced at 129 yuan (approximately $20), and the protective film is priced at 249 yuan (approximately $37).
That’s the price of owning a high-end smartphone that’s tri-foldable and has a huge internal display. Any major repairs after the warranty period will be costly. Therefore, if you decide to buy such a device, treating it with care (or purchasing an expansion service pack) will be a very wise decision.
