At the beginning of this year, the 8Bitdo team launched the Ultimate 3E gaming controller for Xbox and PC. The developers themselves say it’s a controller “for serious gamers,” and the first reviews appeared a few weeks ago, comparing the controller to the Xbox Elite Series 2.
Now the developers of 8Bitdo have announced the release date of Ultimate 3E. The controller will be available in Europe and the UK on October 23 for €139.99/£119.99. This controller is licensed by Xbox and supports Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One via a 2.4 GHz wireless connection or cable. It can also connect to any device via Bluetooth.
The main feature of the Ultimate 3E is the club with TMR technology. According to 8Bitdo, these sensors provide sub-millimeter accuracy, eliminate stick drift, and consume less power than traditional potentiometers.
The controller also features a magnetically replaceable front panel and a set of modules. Players can install ABXY buttons on membrane or micro switches, select classic or circular D-pad options, and change the height and shape of the analog stick pads. A docking station is also part of the kit.
