The developers of ZeroSpace Strategies have released a major update that adds two new co-op missions. In “Galactic War” mode. In the first game, players must help Private Gallagher recover the Flux Core while Endari attempts to break through both worlds. In the second, you need to recapture the Korru Gardens from enemy forces, used by the Kingdom of Chakru to grow crustacean allies.
Galactic War also introduces a threat level system. Modifiers can now be enabled for every battle, not just for a single planet. Before combat begins, players select one of three threat levels and see available modifiers in advance. The developers decided to change the system because the previous option was not used often enough and the number of combinations offered was too limited.
Another innovation is the “Nightmare” difficulty level. To this end, the difficulty scaling and ability sets used by the AI have been adjusted. The AI itself has been more extensively revamped: in Skirmish mode, it now selects troops based on enemy actions, uses top-tier abilities, and improves Terror Tanks. Some abilities also apply to computer control.

Serious changes affected the economy. Each major base immediately received a full set of mining machines, gold mine income decreased, and the maximum supply of hexagonal iron ore was reduced from 6,400 to 5,800. In terms of flux, the maximum supply of each node is reduced from 9999 to 2000. After exhaustion, mining continues at 25% efficiency. The maximum number of flux collectors has also been reduced.
Two six-player maps have been added to Brawl: Hillside and Iron Shield. In the lobby, you can now change player and team positions with a simple drag and drop. Therefore, options such as 2 on 2 on 2 and 1 on 3 appear, and the interface shows where on the map each participant will appear.

The mercenary system has also been redesigned. Each faction now has five available warriors, so some of the stronger mercenaries have been redesigned and made available in more matches. The talents associated with them have also changed.
The developers have temporarily delayed the launch of new Galactic War commanders and new units. This content has been moved to the next major update so that the team can further polish the content before ZeroSpace takes part in the Steam Fall Festival in early October.
