During BlizzCon, Xbox and Blizzard announced Diablo V. Currently, there is almost no information about the project except for the expected release window – Spring 2029.
The events for the new item will begin after the Sanctuary is defeated. According to Blizzard, the world familiar to fans of the series has fallen, and Diablo has triumphed. As part of the new game in the series, the developers hope to show what people become when they lose the familiar world. For the first time in the series’ history, Diablo 5 will give players the opportunity to visit a shelter after a disaster strikes.
Diablo V will be released in spring 2029, and the game will be set in a situation that the series has never put us in: after failure. The sanctuary has fallen. Diablo won. The game asks the question: who will we become when the world as we know it disappears?
The announcement of Diablo V was accompanied by a brief trailer, but Blizzard has yet to show off any gameplay. However, they promised to reveal more details about the project during a BlizzCon panel dedicated to the series.
