Fifteen years later, Creative Assembly and SEGA suddenly remembered the strategy game “Total War: Shogun 2” and announced a “complete version” that will be released in 2019. steamEpic Games Store and Microsoft Store will be launched on October 13, 2026.
Includes all DLC, including Dawn of the Samurai and Fall of the Samurai. Overall, this is still a game about the unification of Japan and becoming a shogun, with a story campaign and multiplayer, but with a few improvements:
- Improved graphics, lighting, shadows and textures;
- Interface scaling for 1440p and 4K resolutions;
- modern management;
- Japanese and Chinese text and dubbing are fully localized;
- Over 50 new sub-factions to play as;
- Built-in support for modifications based on mod.io;
- Supports 64-bit systems and more.
In a way, a remake of Total War: Shogun 2 is being released. We remind you that the original version has a positive rating of 91% on Steam.
