Funcom has released server information for the upcoming Dune: Awakening release on consoles, including Head Start server details, preloads, and maintenance times for this week’s update.
Early Access for Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners will begin on September 17th, so this information will be useful for anyone planning to head to Arrakis in the coming days.
There are two early access servers for Xbox players in Europe and Asia. Four such servers will be launched in North America. South America and Oceania each have an Early Access server.
PlayStation players participating in Early Access can choose from four European servers, five North American servers, two Asian servers, and one server each in South America and Oceania.
By the time of full launch in Europe, there will be 12 additional Xbox servers. There will be 26 new servers in North America, spread across the same three regions. In South America and Oceania, two Xbox servers will be added at launch. PlayStation’s servers were also announced: two will be added to Europe, four will be added to North America, and one will be added to Oceania.
The Funcom team also announced the 1.5 update, which is scheduled to be released on September 17th (the first day of early access for consoles).
This is a major update that will be significantly larger than previous updates to the Steam version.
