
On September 15th, the game “RuneScape: Dragonwilds” was officially released. The game had been released in early versions on PC for nearly 1.5 years. You can now play the project on consoles as well, and it’s released on all tiers of Game Pass subscriptions except Essential.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds is a cooperative (up to 4 players) survival game set in the RuneScape universe. Its events take place in the lost continent of Ashinda, and players will explore the continent, acquire resources, craft weapons and equipment, build shelters, and fight various creatures. During early access, the game received “very positive” reviews on Steam.
How RuneScape: Dragonwilds works on Xbox Series X | S
The first tests have emerged showing that the game can run on Xbox Series X|S.
Xbox Series X Two graphics modes are provided:
- Quality. 4K resolution, 30 FPS. There is no problem of FPS drop.
- Performance. The original resolution is about 1080p, upgraded to 4K. The game strives to run at 60 FPS, but framerate drops may occur, especially when there are a large number of NPCs on the screen. In testing, the game’s FPS dropped by 3-5.
Xbox Series S Only one graphics mode is available, with a resolution of approximately 1080p and 30 FPS. The frame rate is stable during gameplay without any issues.
Please note that there is no Russian localization in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
