IO Interactive studio announced that it will re-port the version of the adventure action game 007 First Light to the Nintendo Switch 2 console. Initially, the game was scheduled to be released simultaneously with other platforms on May 27, but in April the release was moved to summer 2026, and now the release window has been postponed to March 2027 (the specific date will be announced later).
The developers explained that this was due to the need for extra polish and a desire to achieve the level of quality players expect. Meanwhile, the creator noted that the demo was well-received at Gamescom and promised to give visitors at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show a chance to evaluate it so that console owners can see first-hand the technical status of the project before launch.
