Let us remind you that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt debuted in 2015, seven years later it received an update for current-gen consoles (and PC), and two weeks later, on September 29, it will receive an official re-release.
Kutshuba said updates to current-gen consoles are important, but mainly technical upgrades, while The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered goes much further (including in terms of technology).
CDPR believes once again simple technology upgrades are not enough
“More importantly, we’re updating aspects of the game that haven’t been touched since launch. I’m talking about the animation. I’m talking about the gameplay. I’m talking about the amenities and how exactly you play the game.”“Kutsbah said.
Team Wants The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered Game “Shine Again”become younger, get rid of “Unpleasant surprise” and on par with all other modern versions.
The remaster touches virtually every element of the game that doesn’t require rebuilding from scratch
Kutshuba believes that the main proof of the remake’s success is the team’s reluctance to return to older versions of the game: “It’s easy to get used to new improvements and hard to go back.”.
“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” PC version (steam, EGS, GOG), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, S, and Nintendo Switch, and with the release of the remaster, it will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2. In the more than 10 years since its release, the game has sold more than 65 million copies.
