Developers at The Coalition Studios have announced that their game Gears of War: E-Day has received a “gold medal”. The authors have prepared a release version of the project, which they plan to release on October 6, 2026 on Xbox Series X | S and PC. Let us remind you that the game will be exclusive to Xbox consoles.
League president Mike Crump called reaching this stage an important milestone for the team. According to him, the studio is currently in the final stages of preparation and players will soon be able to immerse themselves in the story of the day of the invasion. Early Access for Premium Edition owners will be available from October 1 to 5 days before the full release.
Pre-loading for Gears of War: E-Day will begin on September 29 at 18:00 Moscow time. It will be available on Xbox Series X | S and PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam. Game size on Xbox Series X | The developers didn’t specify an S, but on PC you’ll need around 115 GB. The alliance also proposed final system requirements for the PC version.
Let us remind you that Gears of War: E-Day will have the longest story campaign in the history of the series. The developers have also previously stated that it will be significantly different from previous installments.
