Bonfire Studios has announced a cross-platform closed beta for multiplayer action game Arkhron. This phase will run from September 25th to 27th on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. To participate, you must submit an application Official website.
The upcoming beta will bring PC and console users together for the first time. The developers have also prepared gameplay improvements and two modes:
- In Peak Mode, teams are immediately plunged into dynamic combat in a 3v3 arena. It’s designed to test new gear, practice teamwork, and master the combat system.
- Ascension mode has 15 teams and a total of 45 players. Participants move from floor to floor, fighting monsters and destroying their opponents. At the top, the remaining two teams will face off in a final showdown, with the winner taking all.
“Arkheron” will be the first game from Bonfire Studios, founded by Rob Pardo, former creative director of Blizzard Entertainment and one of the main creators of “World of Warcraft”, “Warcraft III” and “StarCraft”. The team also includes other Blizzard veterans and former Nexon America CEO Min Kim.
