Remedy Entertainment releases new trailer Control resonancetimed to coincide with the release of the long-awaited sequel to Control . Accompanied by The Cardigans’ hit song “My Favorite Game,” the film shows protagonist Dylan Faden in a variety of situations – from battles with ordinary opponents to clashes with big bosses.
In CONTROL Resonant, players take control of Dylan, the younger brother of Jesse Faden, the protagonist of the first installment. This time, the supernatural threat has gone far beyond the usual boundaries, and Manhattan has been twisted by supernatural forces. The reality around the hero is constantly changing, turning the city into a place where the usual laws of space and the world around them no longer apply.
Dylan’s abilities and his anomalous weapons occupy a special place in the trailer. The hero must master various forms of this unusual instrument and use supernatural powers against numerous enemies. The developers promise plenty of surreal conflicts and massive battles, where the world around you actually becomes a part of what’s going on.
CONTROL Resonant will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on September 24, 2026. The game will also receive GeForce NOW support on launch day. The physical console version will be launched later on October 15th. A Mac version is also planned for 2026, but will be released later than the digital version.
The standard digital version is priced at $59.99 (approximately 5,000 rubles), and the digital deluxe version is priced at $69.99 (approximately 5,900 rubles). The Deluxe Edition includes additional AWE mission outfits, exclusive untapped artifacts, starter content pack, digital art book and soundtrack. Digital Deluxe owners on PS5 can also start the game 48 hours early.
When pre-ordering, players will receive Dylan’s Pickpocket Tools artifact and Hiss Corruption Outfit. PlayStation also includes a unique mystery outfit.
CONTROL Resonant is just days away from release, and the new trailer is the last major piece of promotional footage before the game’s release. Judging from the pictures exposed so far, remedy Relying on larger-scale supernatural battles, a twisted Manhattan and the unusual abilities of a new protagonist.
