The single-player campaign of “Grand Theft Auto 6” will be released on November 19, 2026, but the launch of the long-awaited online mode will have to wait longer. According to a recent report from Bloomberg, Twitch CEO Dan Klink said in an interview with reporters that the multiplayer part of the plan will not be released until next year, in 2027.
While Rockstar Games has yet to make an official statement on when the online release will take place, the studio’s close collaboration with the Twitch platform makes Klink’s comments an important source of information. Given the company’s experience with past releases, when the online mode was also delayed, players first had to explore the massive world of Leonidas on their own before committing to online activities.
