At the Xbox launch event at Tokyo Game Show 2026, Com2uS announced the final work of the action role-playing game based on the anime series “Gachiakuta”. The game was announced with the working title GACHIAKUTA: The Game, but will later be renamed GACHIAKUTA: BREAKOUT. The game is expected to be released in 2027 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
A new gameplay trailer was also released during the event, showcasing Rudo, Engine, Zanki, and Riyo in live combat. Each character has their own weapons and fighting style. A separate segment is dedicated to the battle with Jabber. During the battle, the player controls Zanka, avoiding the boss’ attacks and looking for opportunities to counterattack.
Gachiakuta: BREAKOUT is a survival adventure role-playing game based on the anime series Gachiakuta. The subtitle in the title deals with the idea of transcending established boundaries and moving forward in danger. The game retains the visual style of the original, blending style with dynamic combat.
