After several well-known “Rape” series, Netflix is also developing a game series based on Atlus’ famous JRPG series “Persona”. The production will be handled by Story Kitchen, which is associated with the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, and Stranger Things producer Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps. Christopher Monfette, who has worked on “Star Wars: Picard” and other TV shows, has been named writer and showrunner.
Meanwhile, the main question remains: which character are they going to film? Netflix and the creators have yet to reveal specific gameplay, plot, or cast. It’s unclear whether the series will directly adapt the events of one installment into a story, or tell an entirely new story within a familiar universe.
A premiere date and other details have yet to be announced. The project is still in development, so the first trailer is still far away.
